- The Data Centre HW Systems Design Program Manager is a hands-on and dynamic role which encompasses all areas of Systems Solution Development for AMD's Data Center business unit.
- The role requires proactive and frequent engagement with cross-functional teams to ensure that engineering teams are enabled for successful planning, design, development and deployment of DC Systems Solutions.
- Develop and concisely present program status and issue escalation to executive senior leadership and stakeholders levels
- You are required to have demonstrated proven capability leading concurrent programs in a metric driven environment and must have capability to deliver:
- Unification of cross business unit product requirements into a cohesive and achievable engineering delivery plan.
- Management and alignment of design deliverables into corporate phase gate review process.
- Coordination of Asia 3rd parties & contract manufacturers to align material supply and prototype deliveries in line with committed schedules and engineering acceptance criteria.
- Experience within AI/HPC Systems level design deployment.
- Knowledge of the graphics market and related industries.
- Proven experience in rapid data centre systems hardware product prototyping and high mix, fast turn, product development from design to mass production.
- Experience in interacting with and directing international teams in a technology environment.
- Ability to travel in both North America and Asia (up to 10%).
- 15-20 years of experience in technology product delivery (preferably Data Centre Systems segment based)
- 7+ years as a Program Manager in a technology environment
- Engineering Degree
- Additional education, certification or specialized learning related to above business segments would be advantageous
