As an Occupational Therapist Contractor, you will collaborate with ESDC to recommend workplace accommodations that address employees' functional limitations and promote their physical and psychological well-being in the workplace.What You’ll Do:
  • Review de-identified documentation provided by ESDC;
  • Participate in virtual discussions with employees, managers, and ESDC specialists;
  • Provide clarity on employees' functional limitations and recommend appropriate workplace accommodations;
  • Report recommendations in a de-identified manner;
  • Collaborate with ESDC to implement recommended accommodations.
Requirements:
  • Valid, non-restricted license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Canada;
  • Fluency in English and French;
  • Ability to work virtually within Canada's time zones and ESDC's core business hours;
  • Access to a private office and headsets for maintaining confidentiality.
  • Compliance with ESDC's privacy and security protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Certified Occupational Therapist with expertise in recommending workplace accommodations;
  • Sensitivity to diverse employee needs, including physical, psychological, and social aspects;
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with employees and stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Commitment to upholding privacy and confidentiality standards.
Scheduling:4-8 hours a week.
