The Construction Trades Department is seeking a full-time sessional Electrical Instructor starting April 29, 2024. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop curriculum and instruct in a variety of courses.What We Offer

A Journeyperson Electrician with Red Seal certification (preferably an Alberta Journeyperson with completion of Apprenticeship) with several years related industrial experience. Dual ticket preferred, Electrical and Instrumentation.
Additional desirable qualifications include: Power Systems Electrician or Power Lineman, Master Electrician, related technology diploma or related degree; program material development, lab material development and curriculum alignment.Candidates must be professionals who have strong communication, planning, and goal setting skills; be flexible, confident, a team player and are committed to student motivation and achievement.
Teaching experience would be an asset in addition to the following:
· proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
· strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
· excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
· ability to build strong relationships across the organization;
