- Managing and contributing to the set-up and invoicing of all contracted sales, including both Professional Services and Cloud transactions across all entities (European, North American, etc.) in Sage Intacct
- Working closely with the accounts receivable and customer teams to help understand non-standard client billing scenarios and promptly respond to questions
- Managing month-end duties and reconciliations for a selection of general ledger accounts
- Closely monitoring the accounts receivable subledger and submit journal entries to maintain an accurate account balance for month-end reporting
- Ensuring data integrity across our systems including Salesforce and Sage Intacct and be the point of contact for internal questions on relevant customer data
- Supporting the accounts receivable team with cash collections on an ongoing basis
- Maintaining accurate documentation for all processes within your function
- Supporting our financial statement audit by providing support to external auditors
- Contributing to large scale projects that assist in Prophix’s ability to scale our operations with our continued growth
- Using continuous improvement methodologies, continually search for and take the initiative to improve and/or eliminate ineffective processes to improve efficiencies
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
- 2-4 years experience in a similar role
- Post secondary education in Accounting, Finance or related field required
- Strong technology skills, including advanced Excel skills and experience with cloud-based ERP systems
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality of financial information
- Experience with multi-product, multi-currency high volume SaaS invoicing
- Ability to understand multi-contract and complex billing scenarios process with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Proven track record of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where the role is located. Must be able to travel to the United States, Canada and/or internationally, and have a valid passport.
- Previous SaaS invoicing experience
- Previous experience with Sage Intacct and Salesforce
- Experience invoicing and working with companies across Europe considered an asset
- Fluency in French considered an asset.
