Worker Type: EmployeeGroup: Cyber Security Operations DepartmentJob Post End Date: 05/18/2024About this opportunity:Cenovus’s Cyber Security Operations team is seeking a Senior Network Infrastructure Advisor who will provide network security related services to the organization, while balancing security controls and a positive user experience to protect critical assets and enable business outcomes. This includes designing network security solutions and managing firewalls, remote access solutions, load balancers, DNS, VPNs, DMZ networks, internet, cloud security and related services.The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of supporting computer network and cloud defense technologies, monitoring the network for vulnerabilities, developing network security solutions, and investigating security and operational incidents.What you’ll do:Provide technical leadership to design, configure and implement complex network security capabilities on-premise and in the cloud.Evaluate and take appropriate action on threat intelligence and vulnerability reports to maintain the enterprise network security posture.Participate in project work - plan, design and deliver to the requirements of the project.Effectively translate business objectives and cyber risk management strategies into specific security solutions.Provide solution design for IT/OT segregation that meets corporate standards and policy requirements, including network, complex routing and various security technologies within the portfolio.Provide input for continuous improvement for OT Security Operations team.Provide thought leadership for IT/OT Security Operations and projects.Evaluate cyber risk at an enterprise level, and participate in mitigation and control activities.Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and implement a strong perimeter security program that balances security, compliance, reliability and positive client experience.Develop and maintain healthy working relationships with business partners and the larger IT team.Support service providers with technical direction, use case creation, testing and approvals.Provide Level 3 support of enterprise class security, network and cloud technologies.Maintain Security Operations Document lifecycle.Promote Security best practices and awareness through interactions with business collaborators and IT counterparts.Provide cyber incident response support, including mitigating actions to contain activity and facilitating forensics analysis when necessary.Provide incident response for operational incidents that are impacting IT services critical to the business.Who you are:Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.Completion of post-secondary education in computer science, information systems, engineering, cybersecurity. A combination of education and equivalent experience may be considered.Strong preference will be given to candidates with the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
