Waste Connections in Vancouver, WA is looking to hire a full-time year-round Heavy Equipment Operator at our Transfer station in Vancouver, Washington.Starting rate of pay is $27.00/HRHours will be Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:00pm.Qualified candidates must have Front End Loader, Excavator and Yard Truck and trailer Experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to efficiently operate Front End Loader, Excavator and Yard Truck and Trailer. Compactor experience preferred.Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:Extensive physical activity.
