Provides nursing care in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, guidelines and other controls on practice.Working in the community setting the Population and Public Health Registered Nurse provides testing and immunization services, education and promotion to clients, including individuals, families, groups and communities.Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of Island Health in accordance with the service assignment and may require the use of a personal vehicle.QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceRegistration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant and knowledge of current immunization practices; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid BC Driver's License.Skills And Abilities
