- Ontario Secondary School diploma or equivalent.
- >1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting.
- Ability to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work 8-12 hour shifts.
- Excellent client communication skills.
- Ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
- A passion for helping pets and their owners.
- Ability to work with a range of different people with different personalities.
- Comfortable in PC and Mac environments.
- Assisting the veterinarians and RVTs with patient care as a team and independently.
- Client communication (reception).
- Billing, processing payments/refunds and other office duties.
- Housekeeping duties including some cleaning of the facility and the patients.
