Your Opportunity:Clinical Psychology Services (CPS) is a community clinic within the Edmonton Zone, Addiction & Mental Health (AMH) program. The clinic is located in the Garneau neighbourhood of Edmonton's southside. We are recruiting to both Neuropsychologist & Clinical Psychologist positions (a total of three positions) to join our team of leading-edge psychologists providing services to adults experiencing complex mental health or concurrent substance use disorders. Neuropsychologist Positions: Focused primarily on providing consultation and assessment. Clinical Psychologist Positions: A blended role providing formal assessment and evidence-based group psychotherapy as a primary treatment using clinical outcome measurement. Individual follow-up for psychotherapy is provided on an as needed basis. The team receives their referrals from internal mental health and addiction providers from across the continuum of care. CPS is community based however, inreach to psychiatric inpatient units for assessment is provided on an as needed basis. Assessment services may target diagnostic clarification and differential diagnosis of DSM-5 Disorders, case conceptualization and treatment planning, including known or suspected neurocognitive disorders, social, academic and occupational functioning, personality traits and profiles, as well as intellectual and cognitive functioning. A team of dedicated psychometrists provide support and maintain a current test library. The team is engaged in service planning, evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, training and supervision of doctoral level psychology residents. CPS adheres to the AMH Principles of Care including client centered care, collaboration between the care team & client, care that is trauma informed, concurrent disorder capable & recovery oriented. This is an advanced level psychology position that will allow you to work with or within teams to provide and inform services for patients with complex and multi-dimensional medical, psychological, interpersonal, environmental and/or instrumental needs. You will consult, collaborate, and enact initiatives to ensure that practices are evidence based and in alignment with psychology standards of practice and code of ethics, as well as policy, legislation and regulations. You will be expected to lead, facilitate and/or participate in program, policy, and procedure development, service planning, staff development, quality improvement and evaluation, and/or research activities as identified by the needs of the service area(s). You may provide supervision to doctoral level psychology residents, master's level interns, provisional psychologists, psychometrists and other team members.

Required Qualifications:Completion of doctoral degree in Psychology in an applied area relevant to the practice setting from a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) or American Psychological Association (APA) program. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Active or eligible for registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP). Additional Required Qualifications:Neuropsychologists: Successful completion of a 2-year post-doctoral fellowship program in Neuropsychology (consistent with the Houston Guidelines) specific to Adult and Young Adult Neuropsychology. Clinical Psychologists: Knowledge, skill and ability to provide psychodiagnostics, personality and cognitive assessments; individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities. Minimum of 3 years relevant mental health experience. Current Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers. Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge, skill and ability to treat substance related and addictive disorders are preferred. Qualified candidates with expertise and/or experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work preferred. Linguistic diversity and proficiency in multiple languages considered an asset.
