- Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels including cold calling, referrals, networking, and online inquiries.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' insurance requirements and recommend suitable policies.
- Present and explain insurance policy options to potential clients.
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and satisfaction.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and policy changes promptly and professionally.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Product Knowledge and Consultation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting insurance products.
- Educate clients on various insurance options, coverage details, and policy features.
- Analyze clients' current insurance coverage and recommend adjustments or additional products as needed.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare and process insurance policy applications, endorsements, and renewals accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and policy changes in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Compliance and Ethics:
- Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements governing insurance sales and practices.
- Conduct all business activities with honesty, integrity, and transparency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- State insurance license required (may vary depending on location).
- Continuing education and training in insurance products and sales techniques may be necessary to maintain licensure and stay current in the field.
