Calling all sales professionals in Surrey, passionate about the education space!We've partnered with one of the oldest, and most successful private career colleges in Canada, and are on the hunt to find them their next Admissions Advisor/Sales Representative to work out of the Surrey, BC campus. Previous education industry experience is not required.This could be the start of a great new career with plenty of growth opportunities into sales and campus leadership.In this role, you'll be responsible for responding to and following-up on inbound leads (prospective students) via email, phone, and in-person conversations. Your goal will be to approach each student's situation with curiosity and to provide them with the right educational program and career options.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity starting Monday, May 27th, 2024 or sooner. This role offers a competitive base salary + commission (paid monthly), with total on-target earnings between $65,000 and $75,000 in your first year. Top performers on the team currently earn north of $100,000 in total pay per year.This is a full-time in-office position, working Monday to Friday, 8-4, 9-5 or 10-6.Do you love meeting new people?

Primary responsibilities as the Admissions Advisor/Sales Representative:
  • Attract, assess, and register new candidates for their educational programs, mainly by responding to the large number of leads the institution receives - Full training is provided!
  • Call, email and follow up meticulously with new leads/prospective students to schedule either a phone, video or in-person consultation
  • ​​​​Assess each candidate based on the institution's screening process, to ensure they are qualified and the right fit for the programs offered
  • Assist prospective students throughout the enrollment journey, ensuring all necessary documentation and admission criteria are fulfilled and properly documented
  • Ensure students are matched with programs that align with their goals, aiming to pave the way for their career advancement post-graduation
  • Meet monthly and yearly student enrolment goals
  • Foster strong connections with both students and staff to encourage referrals
  • Maintain accurate records within the college's administrative system
To excel in this role, you should have:
  • 3+ years of sales and client service experience, ideally in a consultative capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to connect with people
  • Maturity, critical thinking skills, and the ability to act as a guide/advisor
  • Education industry experience is an asset
  • Tech-savvy with basic computer skills
  • Proactive, self-starter, driven to reach their goals
