Mode: Hybrid, 2 days a week in office
Location: Montreal or Toronto
Salary: 60k to 75k annual depending on experience
Schedule: 37.5H per weekThe incumbent will establish and maintain relationships with the organization's major donors from the Toronto or Montreal offices. The person in this position will be responsible for soliciting, retaining and managing current and potential donors, and will play an essential role in the growth of the organization's program.Job details:- Candidate must be based in Montreal or Toronto

- From 4 weeks vacation per yearResponsibilities :Major Gifts:- Generate major philanthropic gifts in coordination with operational centers.
- Oversee a portfolio of major donors, identifying, engaging in dialogue, soliciting gifts, managing contributions, and cultivating relationships to foster growth.
- Collaborate with other department groups to effectively manage promising leads, developing gifts, follow-up processes and donor event planning.Loyalty and Solicitation Strategies:- Develop and implement loyalty, solicitation and stewardship strategies for major donors.
- Create powerful loyalty tools for the philanthropy team.Relationships and Follow-up:- Use relationships to secure introductions to prospective donors and philanthropic influencers.
- Direct and track donors in portfolio, documenting contacts and developing strategies.Department administration:- Contribute to the development of the annual plan for major gifts.
- Improve donor information tracking systems, ensure data entry, review and analysis in the database.Requirements:- Ability to establish, manage and maintain respectful and committed relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize complex documents to develop proposals and reports.- Proven fundraising experience, ideally in major gifts.
- Experience in generating major gifts
- Knowledge of, and experience working with, major donors in Eastern Canada.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and fundraising databases.- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken. (Fluency in English is required, as the company will be working internationally).
- University degree in a relevant field.
