- Full rate pay of $24.21 to 27.67
- Acts as the key contact for the Room Attendants, ensuring information is communicated, procedures are in place, standards are met and challenges are resolved
- Inspects VIP arrivals and stayovers, All Accor Members arrivals and follows up on special VIP and FPC requests
- Performs routine inspections on Room Attendants, relating to corporate room standards and provides assistance or support to make necessary corrections
- Handles general inquiries by Room Attendants regarding guest requests and may provide information concerning daily operation of overall housekeeping department.
- Assist the Senior housekeeper with daily duties to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the housekeeping operation
- Ensures Fairmont standards are met and exceeded
- Other duties as assigned
- Fluency in English (verbal & written) essential
- High school diploma preferred, or equivalent
- Housekeeping environment
- Proven training skills
- Experience with hotel Property Management System, Micros-Fidelio desirable
- Proven ability to help motivate change
- Must be proactive with a meticulous eye for detail
- Strong organizational, supervisory and communication skills
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guest
