Job DescriptionWe are seeking qualified Bookkeepers/Accounting Technicians for a variety of roles and opportunities with clients across Newfoundland and Labrador. As an ideal candidate, you are experienced in day-to-day accounting and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records and providing top-tier support to businesses and clients in various industries.Key Responsibilities for the Job:
  • Manage AP & AR processes
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare and process payroll
  • General financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Provide support and assistance to accounting teams and management as needed
Experience & Attributes for Success:
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business and/or minimum 3 years' relevant, hands-on experience
  • Proficiency within a variety of software programs, notably QuickBooks, Sage, and/or Excel
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Professional and positive communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities
