We want to see you succeeding in your endeavor and be part of our family.Role Description:We are looking for an Intermediate Level Specialized Analyst - PACS Servers to provide ongoing support for PACS project operations. This is a permanent position, and the work is done on-site full-time to support various medical teams.Under the general supervision of the Head of Service, Telecommunications, Networks, Servers/Storage, and Security, working closely with the RIS-PACS manager, the incumbent carries out coordination activities, needs analysis, support, and ensures the proper functioning of the network, computer systems, and medical imaging applications. The incumbent:- 30% Expertise and technological projectsProvides consulting services to clients (managers, project managers, doctors, users, etc.). Meets with clients, analyzes their needs, and advises them on available technological solutions and associated costs, if required. Plans the implementation of selected solutions, including appropriate service requests.- 30% Administration and supportManages, deploys, controls, programs, monitors, optimizes, secures, and upgrades complex, multi-platform, multi-site network infrastructures and systems, as well as other types of peripheral equipment. Analyzes and assists in coordinating and monitoring the resolution of problems reported by users and call and surveillance centers. Performs programming on medical imaging environments' networks as needed. Provides technical and functional analysis and expert support. Collaborates with resources from other IT groups (support, infrastructure, etc.). Is responsible for providing expert and immediate responses to all problems occurring on the entire MUHC network, including the implementation of emergency plans.- 20% Planning and developmentIdentifies future needs to maintain the network's and services' development capacity. Takes charge of RIS/PACS incidents and problems, analyzes their scope and priority, and determines the means to be implemented to resolve them and make the necessary corrections. Performs deployments of applications and components of technological infrastructures (e.g., security patches), Ensures technological monitoring aimed at improving the existing service and implementing new features and services. Performs all other related tasks related to the exercise of his functions at the request of his superior.- 20% ArchitectureCollaborates on architecture and information technology development projects, participates in and organizes project meetings as needed, ensures planning, and coordinates the work of a team of analysts and computer technicians for the realization of his mandates. Plays a leading role in planning production operations and ensures the efficient execution of the required operational tasks. Develops and documents quality and performance indicators and the processes for measuring performance indicators. Performs all other related tasks related to the exercise of his functions at the request of his superior.RequirementsEducation/Experience:- Must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or another appropriate university discipline, as well as a specialization certification issued by a competent and recognized authority in the field of information technology- Two (2) years of recent and relevant experience in the field of virtualization specialtyRequired Skills:- Expertise in Mid-Range Operating Systems (Linux/RedHat)- Current expertise in MS Windows Server environment (2012, 2016, and Plus)- Experience in MS AD 2012 environment or higher- Experience with network systems- Experience with automation and programming tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Git, Rundeck, etc.)- Functional knowledge of scripting tools (Bash Shell, Python)- Functional knowledge of backup tools- Functional knowledge of monitoring tools- Knowledge of the ITIL change process- Good command of spoken and written French- Excellent ability to write functional and technical documentation- Interpersonal skills and customer approach- Excellent analytical skills, solution-seeking, and autonomy- Good management of operational priorities- Advisory approach, synthesis, innovation, and efficiency- Bilingual
