(Arbor Care) is currently seeking an Equipment Operator to start in the Calgary area on a full-time basis.This position starts at $25.00 - $26.00 per hour, dependent on experience.This position will be predominantly located in Calgary, AB. You must be able and willing to work in Calgary to be eligible for this position.Responsibilities (but not limited to):Stump grinding.Skid-steer operations.Helps enforce on-the-job safety practices for crew members.Safeguards employees and public from hazards in and around the work area.Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.Requirements:Valid class 3 driver’s license with a clean driving recordExperience operating heavy equipment such as tandem axel grapple truck and Sennebogen equipment, , stump grinders is an assetExperience in working around hazardous equipmentWorking around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).Able to work in all temperatures and weatherPossess the ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.Ability to occasionally work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, storm work) and will be subject to call-out work.Ability to operate and service tools and equipmentApplicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
