- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in ASIC design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing design teams.
- Proven expertise in designing ASICs for data centers, wireless communications, and/or automotive systems.
- Strong understanding of ASIC design tools and methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Outstanding leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of ASIC design engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and performance-oriented environment. Mentor staff members to nurture skills development and professional growth.
- Project Oversight: Manage all phases of ASIC design projects from concept through to production. Ensure projects are delivered on time, and meet or exceed quality standards.
- Design and Development: Oversee the design, development, and validation of high-performance ASICs, IPs, and subsystems tailored for data center, wireless, and automotive applications.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to set engineering goals, align projects with business objectives, and advance the company’s market position.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to define product specifications and roadmaps. Ensure engineering solutions effectively address customer needs and market demands.
- Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to keep the company at the forefront of ASIC design. Implement innovative design techniques and tools to enhance productivity and product capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Uphold rigorous design verification standards and practices to ensure the reliability and performance of all products. Address and resolve design issues that arise during testing and post-production.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure resources and collaborations are effectively utilized to support project goals.
