- Provide on-going training, development, and leadership to open order field and salaried employees
- Provide technical direction to branch field operations staff and actively support complicated estimates
- Participate in weekly backlog / progress SIP meetings in each branch
- Investigate and resolve all critical customer issues with the use of Otis and non-Otis products
- Report and present on recommendations for all product designs and performance requirements
- Help drive operational performance in each branch.
- Promote mechanic leads through SSA program.
- Help to grow open order sales throughout sub-region.
- Consult with mechanics, superintendents, ops managers and GMs regarding problems encountered with product / installation performance
- Be an active leader of our safety program throughout the sub-region. Participate in regional safety blitzes, host High Risk Activity pre start calls, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with field level associates required
- Leadership experience required
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software
- Strong leadership skills, goal-orientated, and self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
- 5+ years elevator industry experience or experience leading technicians in a similar industry preferred
- Management experience a plus
