  • Prepare high level 2D and 3D models of mineral processing equipment such as belt conveyors, tanks, pumps, crushers, mills, etc.
  • Help in the design and preparation of 2D and 3D models of mineral processing plants
  • Under supervision of a senior designer, prepare mechanical layout and detail drawings in line with project requirements.
  • Interface with other disciplines (Structural, process, layout, mechanical, piping, electrical) to ensure civil drawings incorporated other discipline requirements.
  • Liaise with engineers for direction, specifications and feedback
  • Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects.
QualificationsAbout you
  • Advanced Diploma or equivalent through an apprenticeship program
  • 0 - 2 years relevant experience in Mechanical design
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must
  • Strong Written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment and enthusiasm for learning
