To learn more about the Faculty of Health, Community and Education, refer to our 2024 strategic plan, .The School of Nursing and Midwifery offers the following programs: Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery, and post-basic programs, including Bridge to Canadian Nursing and Advanced Studies in Critical Care Nursing Certificate.About the RoleThe School of Nursing and Midwifery invites applications for 1 Limited Term position which will commence August 15, 2024 and will end August 14, 2026.The successful applicant must at minimum be qualified to teach all introductory-level nursing courses and be prepared to actively participate in program and curriculum development. Preference will be given to applicants who have expertise in adult health acute care (medical/surgical) and/or recognized simulation credentials and experience with simulation education.New faculty are hired into one of two work patterns. The teaching/ scholarship/ service pattern (TSS) has a focus on teaching with the requirement that the faculty member be involved in a research program as well as service to the Mount Royal community. The teaching/ service pattern (TS) has a focus on teaching and service only. There is an option to change work patterns after tenure.
