- Open and setup a group of projects, monitor, control and report their performance through the whole project life cycle according to the company procedures and general project control practices.
- Control project cost accounts, coordinate their opening and closing according to the schedule and project status.
- Provide timely and accurate cost report updates at the end of each reporting period for the project control accounts to warrant proper monthly cost report.
- Provide regular reports on project cost status and cost deviations.
- Provide regular reports on project time accumulation, analyze budget variances.
- Provide input to client reporting as per contract requirements, or support input to alliance reporting per contract requirements.
- Interface with other project controls staff including other Cost Controllers and planners to maintain an integrated cost-schedule project control system.
- Interface with planners on the deliverables’ progress to update estimate-to-complete.
- Collaborate with Financial Shared Services Centre (FSSC) to initiate, review and issue client invoices.
- Special assignments, ad hoc reports and other related duties as required.
- Support preparation of invoices through providing cost support information (via oracle timesheet/vendor invoices/etc.).
- Prepare Accruals for procurement/subcontractors.
- Work with Procurement to help assess procurement and subcontractor progress matching invoice to purchase order and verify that contents of invoice are in line with purchase order and commitments, then accurately input invoice to PM+/costing system and initiate the workflow approval of the invoice.
- Record PO from procurement system, in Costing system and record incurred cost.
- Analyze commitments for Pos.

- Must have relevant University degree (B.Eng, B.Com, PMP, MBA, etc).
- 5+ years of relevant Project cost control experience, ideally experience in engineering and construction projects environment.
- Proficient in MS office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
- Prefer some knowledge of Primavera P6
- Ability to learn new software as per the company standards.
- Basic Knowledge of project management techniques (i.e., critical path method, progress measurement and earned value technique) and
- Strong organizational skills are required with attention to details.
- Be able to prioritize and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills with a results-oriented approach.
