- Be responsible and accountable for the creative strategy and briefs of allocated projects/clients.
- Raise the standards of both the briefing and creative processes at Wasserman Canada, coaching other #TeamWass members along the way.
- Translate consumer data to diagnose each client brief, bridging our consulting and creative practices with exceptional creative strategy.
- Work agnostically across integrated campaign, content, experiential, go-to-market, and brand strategy deliverables, to name a few.
- Push the envelope with strategy-led creative across all types of projects, presenting with a winning combination of confidence and intelligence to sell great work internally and to clients.
- Invest in learning the landscape for our clients' business/sector, the industry contexts for their investments, their brand values, direction, and big picture objectives.
- Monitor ongoing creative trends within sports, music, lifestyle, and entertainment, to offer relevant recommendations and educate fellow team members
- Develop strong relationships with peers, partners, and clients.
- Think daily about business development and new revenue opportunities with existing and potential clients. Contribute to new client pitches and play a role in RFP responses.
- Manage, develop, and collaborate with a Creative Strategist as your direct report.
- 6+ years relevant experience in a strategic role in brand or agency environments with proven track record of managing accounts, teams, and creative stakeholders.
- An enthusiastic teammate- a change agent with endless optimism.
- Someone who loves a problem (and craves tension), but more importantly, is obsessed with solving for it.
- Passionate about and plugged into cultural trends.
- Ability to balance analytics and insight to unearth creative opportunity.
- Are interested in people. You like interviewing consumers, analyzing audience trends, or talking to industry experts.
- An ability to inspire, influence and motivate others with an obsession for collaboration with account managers, creatives, partners, clients and more!
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to sell through big integrated creative strategy & ideas- internally and externally.
