The Field Sales Coordinator is focused on supporting the day-to-day coordination of internal departments and our field sales team. The Field Sales Coordinator will use their exceptional analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills to investigate issues, build reports, and support our in-store sales process.Primary Responsibilities:Analyzing Your Regional Business:
  • Period Recap: Develop a period recap to be shared with the internal business and the end of each period.
  • ID Business Reviews: Pulling all data necessary for business reviews with Independent Distributors.
Supporting In-Store Sales:
  • In-Store Displays: Working with Marketing and Sales Teams to support in-store display (corrugate) roll-out and inventory management.
  • Weekly ID Update: Developing a weekly update email to consolidate all priorities & events occurring across the business for field sales teams.
  • Complaint process: Consolidating all in-store complaints/issues from sales into a tracker & action item for field sales team. Analyzing the recurring issues to develop root-cause analysis.
  • A Day in the Field: Recurring growth opportunity to spend a few days per month in stores with the field sales teams.
Investigating & Solving Problems:
  • Proof Of Delivery (POD’s): Working with Accounts Receivable to collect PODs from Independent Distributors in order to receive store payments.
  • Route Load Adjustment (RLA): Supporting Distribution Centre and Transportation Teams to investigate supply and quality issues submitted by Independent Distributors.
  • Age Trial Balance: Follow-up with Independent Distributors weekly on outstanding payments, working with ID Development on any breaches necessary.
  • Depots: Working with QA, depots and transport on any depot related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field required
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience field sales team (food industry an asset)
  • Ability to effectively work from home and in the field
  • Experience managing a franchise operation unit is an asset
  • Multi-tasking and priority management are key components to be successful in the role
  • Exceptionally strong communicator and team builder
  • Proven experience in people leadership and development
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced & multi task environment
  • Executive level presentation skills
  • Possess strong planning and time management skills
  • Experience building customer relationships.
  • Strong computer skills (intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office)
  • A passion for the Consumer Packaged Goods industry an asset
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
