- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- P. Eng, or ability to become P. Eng, in Nova Scotia
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Experience: 4+ years of Engineering experience in shipbuilding, oil & gas, or similar industry
- 3+ years’ experience in a technical project management role
- Field experience in an industrial or marine environment
- Experience managing subcontractors or equipment vendors.
- Experience working with classification society requirements and/or military standards and specifications.
- Oversee the design effort of Naval ship by a design agent.
- Support the procurement of ship equipment.
- Manage the timely delivery of equipment vendor design data.
- Liaise with customer, suppliers, and subcontractors on ship requirements.
- Support the construction of Naval Ships
