- Develop an audit program that samples HR policies, procedures and systems and make amendments based on legislative promulgations
- Manage the HRIS system (currently BambooHR)
- Resolve sensitive conflicts and concerns with clear and concise processes
- Act as HR Consultant to all levels of management to guide them in handling all talent opportunities and challenges while retaining company values and alignment with strategic goals
- Own the Talent Sustainability process by linking it to the company strategy
- Collaborate with our team of Directors by contributing creative and practical ideas to address immediate concerns and long term issues
- Develop strategic business plans by identifying HR opportunities, assessing implications and risks to success, and providing recommendations for mitigating risks and maximizing outcomes
- Continuously evaluate and refine departmental processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivering exceptional People Experience services
- Measure gaps in current talent needs, assess prospective talent needs and create future focused workforce plan
- Create equitable and effective rewards and benefits structures and programs
- Administer team member engagement programs and develop new programs for total employee experience
- Work with the health and safety teams within all business units and functions to ensure cooperation with health and safety guidelines set out by different levels of government.
- 10+ years of experience in HR duties, with a minimum of 3 years actively participating in senior or executive decision-making processes.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex HR challenges and contribute strategically to organizational objectives.
- Leads by example, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the HR team.
- Certified HR Coach: Bring expertise as a trained HR coach to mentor and develop talent within the organization.
- Registered Psychometrist: Utilize psychometric assessments to inform talent management strategies and optimize team performance.
- International HR Experience: Demonstrate experience in managing overseas contracts with a overseas contractors with a specific focus on regions including Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, navigating cultural nuances and regulatory frameworks effectively.
