Job DescriptionWe’re in search of an experienced and dependable Part-time Bookkeeper to join our client in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a permanent, part-time opportunity performing bookkeeping duties for an established company in the legal industry.Key Responsibilities for the Job:
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Payroll processing
  • Journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Month-end and year-end support
  • Workflow and database management
  • Other duties as required
Experience & Attributes for Success:
  • Post-secondary education in business or accounting at the college or university level
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar, full-cycle role
  • Previous small business bookkeeping or office management experience is a considerable asset
  • Motivated and ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Efficient in both an independent environment and as part of a team
