Job Title: U.S. Tax Specialist (Cross Border)Location: Toronto Office, HybridJoin Fuller Landau:You’ll be part of a collaborative team that supports your success and welcomes your ideas and ambition. Our professional commitment is also personal.Your opportunityThe U.S. Tax Specialist will prepare a variety of US tax returns and provide technical support to and communicate with team members and clients.Your major responsibilities
  • Prepare US personal and corporate tax returns, many of which are complex
  • Prepare more simple Canadian personal tax returns
  • Perform tax law research and document conclusions
  • Analyze tax law changes, rulings, and opinions for impact on our clients
What we look for
  • 0-3 years US public accounting tax experience, under supervision of US licensed CPA
  • Completion of, or demonstrated progress toward a recognized accounting designation ex CPA.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Able to work under recurring monthly time deadlines
  • Able to think technically but work practically
  • A team player who values long term career growth
