Job duties :
- Engaging with clients :
o Business development:
 Build and grow a client portfolio by using commercial information to identify
organizations that have current or future recruitment needs - including global
multinationals, rapidly growing SMEs and not-for-profit entities
 Initiate contact with potential clients via business development calls, face-to- face meetings, referrals and networking to proactively sell PageGroup services
 Identify relevant contacts responsible for holding decision-making responsibilities in the hiring process
 Attend pitches and meetings with prospective clients
 Prioritize assigned leads to focus on those having revenue potential
 Maintain and develop existing client relationships with regular phone calls and face-to-face meetings to ensure repeat business
 Work with other disciplines in PageGroup to exchange important business development information (cross-selling)
 Network across your industry sector or specialization to ascertain market trends and growth areas
 Understand how to provide a better service than our competitorso Commercial customer service
 Consult and engage with clients to identify their needs and providing advice on the availability of suitable candidates
 Provide advice on, and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting the right candidates to a client's business. This requires flexibility including running an advertising campaign, for example
  • Promote our brand and establish commercial terms to maximize revenue generation for each campaign and a broader Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA) if appropriate
  • Provide ongoing advice on market conditions, business trends and salary fluctuations within their industry sector
o Generating revenue
 Present and sell suitable candidates to your client, ensuring they meet their brief as well as their business requirements
 Manage the recruitment process from interview to offer stage, balancing excellent service with a positive commercial outcome for all parties. This
includes: setting up interviews, giving and receiving feedback, identifying
potential problems during the process, and negotiating contract terms for
successful candidates
 Once placed, follow-up and ensure that the placement is successful from their
perspective, including asking for a testimonial- Engaging with Candidates
o Business development
 Identify and attract potential candidates using all the sourcing tools at your disposal, including using social media, networking, referrals and advertising
 Sell the benefits of registering exclusively with PageGroup to secure a new role
 Maintain an accurate candidate database so that you and others at PageGroup know who and where potential candidates are and if/when they are availableo Commercial customer service
 Meet with candidates to establish whether they have the right profile and skill set for your client base
 Offer advice on the quality of their resume and interview techniques
 Provide advice on market conditions and manage expectations on availability of roles and salary levels etc.
 Maintain regular contact with candidates to ensure that you are aware of their changing circumstances and any further commercial opportunities in their business
 Once placed, follow-up and ensure that the placement is successful, ensuring you are interacting with them as a potential client as wello Generating revenue :
 Interview candidates, using your selection techniques to select those that are most suited for roles
 Brief candidates to ensure they are fully prepared and “set up for success” for the interview process;
 Support candidates in negotiating mutually beneficial terms- Engaging with colleagues
o Business development :
 Work as an integral part of a team, motivating one another, and communicating effectively
 Focus collaboratively on the broader day-to-day issues of business development, systems and procedures and training - proactively maximizing commercial performance
 Internally network to build business relationships and gather information that can be converted into commercial opportunitieso Commercial customer service
 Collaboratively source and refer high quality PRCs across the business through personal and professional relationships, social media, professional groups, etc. in order to access the largest talent pool possible
 Build your own credibility internally to ensure you receive all commercial information from your colleagues to maximize your revenue generation.
 Communicate business pipeline to your manager, director or managing director
 Select proper candidate resumes and draft suitable interview and assessment notes to add to the database so that the PG team can independently utilize the database for current and future assignments
 Partner with clients and A/R to quickly resolve any issues, and ensure billed revenue is collected within the designated timeframe...o Generating Revenue
