- Maintain accurate client clinical records

- Knowledge of VON policies and procedures
- Provide clinical leadership

- Engages regularly with clients, their families and caregivers.
- Provides education and support to engage clients and families in independence
- Participates actively with other healthcare professional organizations and the community to promote nursing best practices
- Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current CPR and First Aid certification will be requested
- Experience working with pediatric clients is preferred
- Experience in community health an asset.
- Knowledge of community resources an asset
- Excellent assessment, teaching, problem solving and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt nursing practice to operating independently in a variety of situations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
- Must have personal vehicle and possess both a current driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
- A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check
- A Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may be required
- The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required
