Seabee Gold Operation welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences to apply.SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for an Operator, Water Treatment Plant.About Your New Role:Reporting to either the Supervisor, Environment, the Operator, Water Treatment Plant, will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Seabee Potable and Santoy Potable and Santoy 8 WTP. The Operator, Water Treatment Plant will coordinate upcoming work with the Supervisor, Environment (Water Treatment).Your Key Responsibilities:Accountable for potable water treatment and wastewater treatment operations and employee safety.Accountable for working with appropriate PPE, tools and equipment.Reports to Environment Supervisor (Water Treatment) for the safe and efficient operation of the Seabee Potable, Santoy Potable and Santoy 8 Water Treatment Plant.Coordinate with the Mill, Maintenance and Electrical department, submit work orders and/ or notifications to ensure the water treatment plant equipment is adequately maintained.Work closely with other departments to keep the Potable and wastewater plants running smoothly and minimize down time.Your Knowledge and Skills:Demonstrated ability to progress the range of certification levels.Good communication and problem-solving skills.A positive and proactive attitude towards safety is essential.The ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with the utmost professionalism, discretion and confidentiality is essential.Your Education and Experience:The successful candidate will have:Class 2 Saskatchewan Operator Certification in Water Treatment.Post-secondary education in a relevant science or engineering discipline is an asset.About Our Working Conditions:This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.Our Stipulations:This job posting complies with all Company standards, policies and procedures pertaining to appropriate conduct for employees, including the Code of Conduct.
