THE POSITION

Keyera is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Rimbey Gas Plant near Rimbey, Alberta.

The Maintenance Supervisor is a critical member of the Leadership Team, working closely with our stakeholders from across the organization to ensure that we have a robust maintenance program at Rimbey. The Maintenance Supervisor will be based at the Rimbey Gas Plant and report directly to the Area Manager.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Key member in creating a regional maintenance philosophy.
  • Lead and direct the development of work processes and maintenance procedures to further improve the efficiency of the plant.
  • Areas of focus may/will include site HSE programs, measurement, supply chain, MOC process, planning & scheduling, and preventative maintenance plans.
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations & Corporate stakeholders when it comes to corporate initiatives such as Asset Management & Reliability, Operational Excellence, and others.
  • Own, manage, and support the Asset Management & Reliability Program (AMR) and utilization of Maximo at the site.
  • Develop and manage monthly and annual Maintenance budget; supply reports and data for auditing purposes.
  • Supervise, support and mentor maintenance personnel; provide training opportunities where possible in support of the Performance Review process.
  • Manage the Maintenance progression/CMDS competencies.
  • Provide assistance and direction on emergency callouts and be an integral part of fostering HSE programs.
  • Research and attract top vendors and suppliers while ensuring optimal cost and service to the facility.
  • Initiate service providers who are aligned with maintenance needs of the facilities.
  • Review and plan for critical infrastructure maintenance and upgrades.
  • Ensure critical parts are maintained at desired levels.
  • Accountable to play key ICS roles in the Emergency Response Plan and expected to participate in a rotating leadership on call program.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience with 10 years Operations/Maintenance experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Hold a Journeyman Certification in Instrumentation, Electrical, Millwright or Pipefitter. Preference will be given to dual tickets and those having ABSA Power Engineer Certification.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to provide 5-year standard driver abstract with zero demerit points (clean driver's abstract)
  • Customer focused and motivated in planning and implementing a successful maintenance program to meet safety and reliability targets.
  • A team player that can work autonomously when required.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and creativity are all critical to long-term success.
