To ensure that finished products meet specifications Responsibilities:Make sure you have an ample supply of skids, boxes and trays, for your shiftEnsure all paperwork is completed properly - ex. tickets, packaging reports, etc. Report any equipment issues to your supervisor/leadhandEnsure coding information is correct on the package. Refer to packaging specificationsEnsure the correct skid is being used. Refer to packaging specificationsMove the finished product to the freezer or warehouseWork closely with Machine-operatorDump waste when needed and record weightRelieve for breaks and lunches when requiredHelp keep the line tidy during production (sweep floors in the warehouse and around lines, Keep boxes, trays, and skids in designated areas)Empty garbage when requiredWork in conjunction with the Leadhand and co-workers to ensure orders are filled correctly and packaging supplies are available for the next shiftWork area left clean and tidy for the next shift (any unused boxes that are not needed anymore put them away, floors swept, etc.)Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and qualityPerform all other duties assigned Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentMust work with speed and accuracy to keep up with the production processGMP and safety awareness We thank each applicant for taking the time and effort to submit your resume, however, only candidates to be interviewed will be contacted.
