This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in IT and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment.As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, both software and hardware. The successful candidate will be customer-oriented and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our Head of IT to ensure that our systems and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently.What you'll be doing:Provide first-line technical support to end-users on various IT issues, including software, hardware, and networking.Escalate complex issues to the Head of IT.Respond to queries via video call, email, Slack, or in-person and offer technical assistance and support.Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.Set up and configure new employee laptops using Kandji and Microsoft Intune.Manage and maintain IT inventory, including tracking and ordering equipment and supplies.Ensure security and privacy of systems and networks.Perform regular system updates and upgrades.Assist in the development and maintenance of IT documentation and procedures.Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Work closely with all other departments to help increase efficiency across the organization.Provide training and support to end-users as needed.Qualifications:We are committed to building an inclusive, supportive place for you to do the best and most rewarding work of your career. If you identify with any of the following, we encourage you to apply!3+ years professional working experience in an entry-level technical support positionBachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.Basic knowledge of Windows and Mac laptops, networks, and other related technologies including Google Workspaces, Slack, Bettercloud, Kandji, Microsoft Entra and Intune, Zendesk and Zoom.Networking experience across multiple offices is a plus.Previous experience with Ubiquti networking equipment is preferred.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong attention to detail.Customer-oriented and a team player.Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Strong desire to learn and grow in the IT field.Our approach to compensation:We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings.
