WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Role:

CoolIT Systems, Inc. is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join our Manufacturing Team. The Production Manager will lead a dedicated team of Production Supervisors, overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that our cooling products are produced efficiently, on time and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs.
  • Supervise and motivate production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed to ensure high levels of safety, quality, performance, and productivity.
  • Monitor production processes and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage inventory traceability and coordinate with warehousing to ensure adequate materials and supplies are available to support production schedules.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance, reduce waste, and increase profitability.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in production management, technology, and equipment.
  • Assessing and communicating production goals / efficiencies and needs to the Team Leaders as needed, and leading initiatives to meet and exceed targets and KPI's.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing Systems & implementation of a Quality Manufacturing program.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver results on short and long-term projects by demonstrating skills in planning, executing, and following through on action items.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field
  • Possess P.Eng designation or similar professional credentials.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Detail orientated and very organized.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies.
