This position requires you to have your own Small Cargo van or Minivan. (No cars, pickups or SUVs) Ideal vehicles are Transit Connect, Dodge Pro Master Econ, Nissan NV200, Toyota Sienna or Caravan/Montana/Pacifica.
You are driving your own van so N licenses are acceptable.
Deliveries are within Markham and nearby cities, but in one tight, dense zone each day, not all over the place. 8:30 am start times, 5-10 hour days. Shifts are available every day of the week. Part-time and Full-time where you customize which days are available.
- Busy days have 100+ stops for $300+/day
- Works out to ~$30-40/hour, more for top performers.
- Essential worker position, so you'll have work even if another lockdown occurs.
- Safety Vest (Class 2) (100% Mandatory at Warehouse, not on road, but I advise wearing a vest while delivering.)
- Must provide a vehicle for the work. Minivan or Light, small cargo van.
- Winter / All-Weather Tires (Not All-Season October-April)
- Can safely get in and out of your van multiple times a day.
- Have a smartphone with a data plan.
- Have a valid (standard license for cars) driver's license.
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- 1+ year of courier experience in the GTA.
- Customer service background.
- A can-do attitude.
- Time management skills.
