Position Information This is a job posting for an Oracle Financials Senior Systems Analyst.The Digital Enterprise Business Solutions team needs an experienced Oracle Financial Analyst to join the core team supporting The Ottawa Hospitals Financial and Supply Chain ERP's, Oracle eBusiness 12.2.12 and Oracle Cloud EPM.This person will help the team implement new features and support business driven enhancements improving and optimizing processes outlined in the 5-year plan focusing on Oracle eBusiness financial applications. The eBusiness financials suite of applications includes General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payables and iExpense, Receivables, Cash Management, and Tax.This is a remote work from home position. Rotation/Shifts Days, 8 hour shifts.What You Will DoCommunity College or Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration;Solid business background with a minimum of 10 years work experience in an enterprise business systems environment;Significant Financial experience and expertise;Oracle E-Business suite experience is essential;In depth configuration knowledge in at least two of the following modules: Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger;Ability to provide support within a team to ensure 24/7 responsiveness of the Financials in a highly integrated environment;Experience leading components of large scale complex information systems projects with 2 to 15 Digital Solutions professional staff and clients;Experience training co-workers and clients;Experience in solution design, test scenarios and scripts definition and in the execution of system testing;Experience providing application support including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving user problems;Eligible to work in Canada. You will stand out with: Past experience in large scale system implementations;Experience identifying functional gaps and recommending corrective actions;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Strong organizational, communication (oral and written), interpersonal, supervisor and leadership skills;Knowledge of computer systems, structured analysis, systems development lifecycle (SDLC), and application implementation methodologies (AIM, OUM);Experience in full software development cycle with the use of application implementation methodologies;Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
