WHAT'S THE JOB?Utility Janitors are a vital asset to our team and play an integral role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of site. Utility Janitors work with the Lodge Manager to follow the company standards for safety, quality, and site cleanliness. Clean and sanitize all common areas, including the gym, rec room, boot room and front lobbyGarbage and recycling collection and removalFloor care, including sweeping and moppingClean and sanitize all public washroomsClean and sanitize management offices as well as the front desk areaRemoving garbage from dorms and disposing at designated garbage site dailyCollection, distribution, and management of laundry in campPlanned utility checks on assets in camp Troubleshooting utility issues as they arise (plugged toilets, leaky faucets, broken or damaged cosmetic equipment)Replacing doorknobs, lightbulbs, and other items as requiredCutting keys and testing keys in all doors as requiredHanging or removing items from wallsInspecting, cleaning, and replacing filters as requiredTransportation of staffOther duties as assignedWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Valid G license requiredExperience using light power tools requiredExperience working in busy environmentsAbility to work independently and remain on taskPrevious hotel or camp experience an assetGood oral and written communication skills.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Be part of an industry that's more important than ever!Employee Referral Program!Career advancement opportunities.Whereas other companies are downsizing, we are growing!Be #1 on day 1 by joining an industry leader.Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
