Senior - Systems Analyst

Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a System Analyst. As a System Analyst where you have experience in critical environments and operations projects, including the PSRN initiative. Bring your expertise in emergency health services, particularly ambulance communications, and leverage your skills in systems analysis, design, and telecommunications engineering to drive impactful technological solutions.

Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

Must Haves:

• 5 - 10+ years of systems analyst experience.

• Proficiency in 24x7 critical environments and operations projects.

• Previous involvement in the PSRN project.

• Understanding of emergency health services, specifically ambulance communications.

Criteria

• Core Skills:

• Knowledge of systems analysis and design methods.

• Experience in testing and implementation practices.

• Proficiency in voice, data, radio, and satellite telecommunications engineering.

• Familiarity with LAN and various network configurations.

• Skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and change management.

• Technical Skills:

• Expertise in server and network technologies.

• Experience with IP-based telephony systems like Avaya.

• Proficiency in integrated voice and data switching systems.

• Knowledge of VHF and UHF radio technologies.

• Understanding of emergency health services and dispatch systems.

• Analytics:

• Proficiency in project management methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in managing multiple and multi-year projects.

• Communications:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to present complex information.

• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
