Shipping Coordinator

As Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving including safely loading and unloading equipment, processing of paperwork, booking shipments, quality assurance, inventory counts, and system transactions.

Some responsibilities include:

• Manage the invoicing.
• Arrange transport/packaging of material.
• Handle import/export processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers for dispatches.
• Plan dispatches with order handlers.
• Coordination with internal departments.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED

Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration:

• Valid operator license for forklifts and cranes
• WHMIS training
• TDG certificate

Type and Length of Experience:

• 2 years shipping & receiving experience
• Inventory management experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes Desired in Candidate:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows
• Working knowledge of M3/Movex
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Safety mindset
• Quality mindset

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

• Required to lift 40 pounds in daily routine
• Required to work in cold and hot climates
