Job description responsibilities:
- Operate asphalt plant to produce various asphalt mixes
- Monitor asphalt plant controls ensuring within operating range
- Perform and record routine maintenance on asphalt plant and associated equipment
- Document production quantities, material inventories, and other daily reports as necessary
- Other duties as required
Skills & other requirements:
- Moderate computer skills required to operate plant software
- A mechanically inclined individual with the ability to weld and perform other fabrications
- Physically fit individual with the ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions
- Previous experience with asphalt plants, crushing plants, and heavy equipment is preferred
