Duties & Responsbilities:
•Ensuring their teams are briefed on updates for protocols and procedurues along with ensuring their daily duties are being carried out to the fullest extent
•Available to answer any of the guard's questions, provide coaching, and training new guards.
•Attending mandatory Supervisor Meetings
•Acting as a liaison between the guards and management by bringing any questions, concerns, or ideas forward to management
•Communication with the Field Managers effectively when needed
•Ensure incidents are taken care of in the appropriate manner and reports are being completed clearly and concisely.
•Auditing notebooks while maintaining their own accurately
•Auditing supplies for vechiles including, but not limted to the parking passes
•Ensuring the guards are following the lone worker checks in procedures and policies.
•Following all OH&S guidelines and making sure the team is aware of OH&S guidelines
•Following all reporting protocols put in place and ensuring team has knowledge of protocols
•Reviewing memos with team
•Conducting guards evaluations
•Providing an end of shift summary to the SPM from all guards
•Completing all levels of the outline Supervisor course
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Must have an unrestricted Class 5 FULL Driver's License
•1 year of security experience needed
•Must provide a 3-year Drivers Abstract
•Strong knowledge of Edmonton and the surrounding areas
•Confidence in driving in a variety of road conditions
•Represent Paladin with a high level of professionalism and customer service skills, as well as effective communication skills in dealing with clients, emergency personnel, and the public
•Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and make sound decisions in emergency situations
•Ability to carry out written and verbal instructions including writing comprehensive reports
•Maintain patrol records
•Must be capable of handling confidential information with a high degree of discretion
