Position Summary: Calian is currently looking for multiple Integrated Logistics Support Specialists to support the Asset Visibility Initiative required by the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM).

Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and subject matter expertise on local national material and management within DND, including Controlled Technology Access and Transfer (CTAT) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Inspect, investigate, identify, and challenge high-value material and equipment within DND.
Use and maintain local and national materiel databases.
Catalog materiel according to applicable standards.
Provide technical descriptions for non-nationally catalogued material procurement.
Investigate and advise on cataloging/technical queries and materiel problems raised by customers.
Identify, screen, and process equipment/material for hazardous/radioactive characteristics before disposal or sale through Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).
Conduct investigations, uncover data inaccuracies, and business process errors.
Provide upper management with quality decision-making information based on business analytics.
Adhere to and apply industry standards for quality and continual improvement activities.
Process Materiel Incident Reports (MIRs) while executing proper cataloging procedures and options for a backlog of CANSOFCOM owned equipment.
Catalog all CANSOFCOM requirements using a Permanent System Control Number (PSCN), NATO Stock Number (NSN), or adopting a pre-existing foreign-created NATO stock number.
Identify correct part numbers and A Manufacturer Identifier (NCAGE) combinations using technical data/specifications via manufacturers' websites or by contacting the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or proprietary distributor.
Verify cataloging requests against corporate systems such as Canadian Government Cataloguing System (CGCS), NATO Master Cross Reference List (NMCRL), and Fedlog.
Liaise with technical authorities and Supply Managers (SMs) to ensure proper management of data within the Materiel Management Repository (MMR) aligned with CANSOFCOM business rules.
Compile cataloging requirement information, including technical data in Portal Document Format (PDF) within the CANSOFCOM cataloging registry.
Ensure that all cataloging requests are identified as Operational Security (OPSEC) or corporate requirements based on the technical authority's input from the unit representative.
Clear a backlog of materiel that requires cataloging to meet CANSOFCOM materiel accountability and management requirements.
Carry out 100 percent stocktaking of all accountable materiel held at the units.
Compare physical counts with the system of record (DRMIS) to ensure no duplication exists with asset accountability.
Compare lists of reference materiel with corporate cataloging systems to ensure stock for familiar items is not duplicated.
Report any deficiencies and surpluses to the proper authority for adjustment action.
Identify materiel that requires cataloging and create appropriate documentation for system generation.
Conduct investigations and carry out any required research for faulty data within DRMIS to ensure accurate data is provided to CANSOFCOM units.
Check CANSOFCOM units’ FedLog, CGCS, and NMCRL for matches.
Update information in DRMIS and inform the CANSOFCOM Life Cycle Maintenance Manager (LCMM) responsible for the stock codes.

Mandatory Requirements:
A valid provincial driver’s license (Class G or equivalent as a minimum)
Experience using Microsoft Office; Excel, Access, and Word
Minimum two (2) years experience with working experience with corporate supply chain policies and procedures pertaining to the Supply Chain System, Materiel Management, and the Canadian Forces Supply System (CFSS) Logistics
Experience with DRMIS and cataloging requests
Experience with CANSOFCOM or the Special Operations Forces of Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States
