This position will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and scheduling of equipment maintenance, and provide administrative support for the maintenance team.This is an ideal position for someone with experience working in a shop environment, who enjoys being the go-to person and excels working in a fast-paced environment. Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great peopleKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenanceLeading administrative support for the maintenance department, ensuring streamlined and efficient processesExecuting data entry tasks with accuracyIdentifying, analyzing, and rectifying data discrepanciesCollaborating with the team to provide relevant information and resources enabling them to excel in their primary functionsCollaborating with parts and warehouse team, CEDA Fleet, and 3rd party billing servicesUtilizing problem-solving skills to address challengesActively participating in Ceda’s safety & training programGenerating reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and costCommunicate directly with operations and maintenance teams to schedule repairs & preventive maintenanceProviding a wide variety of administrative support to maintenance teamMaintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and participate in meetingsRole SpecificationsMinimum one year of administrative experience in a maintenance/shop environment.Proficiency in computer software systems for creating work orders and managing service recordsExperience using Microsoft ExcelClass 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstractRelated post-secondary education would be an assetSkillsSelf-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work within a deadline-oriented environmentDetail oriented – you pay attention to the small thingsExcited by change, shifting priorities, and problem solvingStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skills coupled with a customer service focus The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
