SCHEDULER - PTUS PROJECT - DOWNTOWN TORONTO

POSITION SUMMARY

Reports to: Scheduling Manager
and maintaining detailed resource- and cost-loaded construction schedules for heavy civil construction projects.
with project teams to provide input for baseline schedule and monthly updates, while also maintaining open communication with them when delivery schedules change to allow them to manage their time more effectively.

with the Virtual Design team to develop 4D schedules.
assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.
purchase orders and subcontract schedule status and providing management with input on subcontract performance.
for collecting and analyzing data for schedule updating.
and assisting in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.
analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
in procedure development and implementation.
and producing scheduling management reports.
analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
remedial schedule risk analysis and assisting with risk mapping and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA).
in tracking corrective actions.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction industry working in schedule preparation and maintenance (Eng. background preferred).
Subway and light rail transit (LRT) scheduling experience including TBM tunneling and underground station construction.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization.
Experience coordinating schedule related tasks with construction, design, estimating, cost, and procurement teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
years of Primavera P6 experience is required.
of 3 years of experience developing schedules for large transit rail projects.
developing Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA) in combination with the risk register is preferred.
experience and ability in scheduling complex projects.
Strong understanding/experience integrating “Earned Value Management” with project scheduling.
Proficiency in Excel and MSP is required.
Experience with PRA (Primavera Risk Analyst), PowerBI, ACUMEN, SAP, and other relevant software is preferred.
