• Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and yearly tax provisions and financial disclosures.
• Oversee the tax team's compliance with internal controls and SOX testing.

• Handle the preparation of Canadian and other compliance filings, including Country-by-Country Reporting, Global Minimum Tax, and more.
• Manage and respond to tax authority audits and queries.

• Support the financial strategy through effective tax payment budgeting and performance tracking.
• Provide insights and recommendations to minimize the tax burden and support corporate tax restructuring when necessary.

• Lead and provide oversight to junior staff, ensuring high performance and compliance with all tax procedures and regulations.

• CPA designation and completion of the CPA In-depth Tax Course.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax practice environment, ideally within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in tax accounting and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Willingness to engage in international travel as needed.
