Job Description:Job Description We have a best-in-class delivery team supporting a diverse range of clients with various systems across most verticals. The Technician ll - Service will be responsible for servicing electronic security systems from leading manufacturers such as Lenel, Genetec, Axis, Milestone and Avigilon. RESPONSIBILITIES:Service and maintenance of integrated security systems including access control, CCTV and alarmsTroubleshooting and repair of hardware and software of our integrated systemsWork with manufacturers’ technical support teams to resolve system issuesConsistently provide high levels of customer serviceProvide customer with training for proper system usage, and respond to technical inquiriesComplete detailed and accurate paperwork, and assist with as-built documentationAdhere to Paladin’s Quality and Safety programBe prompt, enthusiastic and take direction from the service team, and operationsBe available and willing to participate in a after hours On-Call rotationBuild confidence with clients and stakeholders and enhance the organizations reputation throughout the industryPerform other tasks as requiredYou may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements QUALIFICATIONS:Experience as a Service Technician in the security, electronics, telecommunication, or IT industryProven service experience of complex physical security systems such as Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Milestone, etc.Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalentExperience with the following systems and technologies are an asset: IP networks, low voltage electronics, power and communications, Access Control, CCTV (IP and Analog), Intrusion Systems, Client-Server security applications.Valid Driver’s License with clean abstractAble to work independentlyStrong command of the English language along with good written and verbal communication skills.Awareness of productivity and profitability of the work carried outWillingness and capability to learn and developAble to pass varying levels of security clearanceAvailable to complete out-of-town work on an ad hoc basisPersonal hand tools required Company Info: Paladin Technologies is a premier North American complex systems integrator for building technology solutions, including IP security, alarms & monitoring, audio visual, low-voltage infrastructure, and networking.
