Roechling Industrial is seeking a motivated, self-starter to join our team as an Industrial Millwright in our Maintenance Department.Industrial MillwrightWhere we need youReporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for, but not limited to the following:Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment failures as well as perform periodic inspections of equipment and systemsPerform mechanical repair & maintenance activities throughout the plant on equipment and facilitiesMotors, hydraulics & pneumatic systems, bearings & gearboxes. Water heating and cooling systemsReading blueprints and schematics. Equipment installations & riggingUtilize Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement to maximize equipment output and processesExecute preventative maintenance activities including troubleshooting and repairs to all production equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps in a timely mannerUtilize the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders, PM’s and updating the equipment databasesSupport divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, and wasteHow to convince usQualificationsCertified Industrial Millwright 433A (Red Seal ticket)2 -3 years of work experience preferably in a manufacturing environmentExceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsEnergetic and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary teamExcellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsKnowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and possesses a strong safety focusProficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management softwareAvailable and flexible to work in a fast paced environment, be self-driven to meet or exceed targets and work a flexible schedule that includes planned, unplanned and on-call shiftsExperience with electronics & PLCs. AC & DC motors and controls an asset.Ability to operate specialized vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.Physically fit & able to negotiate inclines, stairs and ladders Able to perform physically demanding activities while working in all types of extreme hot environments, both indoors and outdoors. The job requires bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, and standing for long periods of time. Must be physically able to push, pull, and lift 40 lbs. Working in conditions may include exposure to noise, dust.Willingness to work extended hours when and where requiredVerbal and written communication skills / EnglishShiftsPermanent, Full Time Position 12-hour continental, day shift onlyAveraging agreements in place 84 hours biweekly with opportunity for OTWhat we offerRate of PayDepending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $40.00/hour.
