We are seeking a Manager, FP&A Integration join our team in Winnipeg, Calgary, or Toronto. This is a term opportunity that will extend to September 2025.

The Manager, FP&A Integration will be responsible for the execution of the finance integration of acquired companies including the financial forecast, the working capital audit, additional consideration tracking and calculation, and their financial reporting results for an interim period and then the hand-off of oversight to the Finance department. You will provide support to the VP, Acquisitions (Due Diligence); Director, Acquisitions & Integration Finance; and VP, Financial Planning & Analysis to ensure successful and timely execution of finance integration is achieved with quality outputs and positive experience for all stakeholders involved.

The Manager, FP&A Integration will:

  • Collaborate with the business to assess the appropriate inputs for the financial forecast of acquisitions.
  • Prepare complete and accurate financial results for new practice acquisitions during the integration period, including budget creation, implementing the forecast process, and reporting on variance analysis for actuals.
  • Support acquisition accounting activities including working capital audits and additional consideration such as vendor earn-out payments.
  • Support with the creation of the finance integration processes and documentation.
  • Support of the finance integration team, who's core responsibilities are to absorb all accounting tasks from new acquisitions for an interim basis, document all new business processes to conform with PC standards, and then transition the accounting tasks to PC's accounting teams.
  • Collaborate with the Integration Management Office on planning and prioritization of the various finance integration tasks.
  • Identify needs of practices and create reports based on business needs.
  • Collaborate on and support the development of a Business Readiness Model for transitioning integrated practices.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Financial Reporting team, the Operational Finance team, the Onboarding team, the Acquisition Due Diligence team, and the Integration Management Office team.

To be successful as a Manager, FP&A Integration with People Corporation, you will need:

  • 3 to 5+ years' experience working in a fast-paced analytical role within a growth-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) relevant to accounting, business administration.
  • CPA designation in good standing.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with financial services, group insurance, SQL tools and database design, or project management experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively use data to build, deliver and translate tactile information into trends and meaningful decisions for senior leaders.
  • Highly collaborative mindset and excellent relationship-building skills, seeking to understand and build on differing perspectives of others to enhance team efficiency and quality outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen.
