What’s in it for you:Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideCompetitive benefit program, including medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, employee and family assistance program.Learning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21What you will be doing:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceClean all assigned guestrooms to standards set by The Fairmont Palliser including: dusting, making beds, soiled linen removal from rooms, and retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, inside window cleaning, replenish rooms with suppliesSign master keys in and out dailyStocking of linen cartsStocking of Guest Room Mini-barsProper usage of cleaning products including wearing all required personal protective equipmentUpdate and record all cleaned roomsReturn and properly tag all lost and found articles in the Housekeeping OfficeReport necessary maintenance itemsFollowing all training provided on Safe Work Practices and job procedures to ensure a safe, environment for all guests and colleaguesFollow all safety and sanitation policiesReport any repairs or maintenance required in rooms promptly to the Housekeeping OfficeAll other duties as assignedPhysical aspects of position include but not limited to: Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsPhysically capable of performing duties which involve repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and lifting of heavy objects. Must be able to safely operate motorized HOSTAR carYour experience and skills include:Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience is an assetAbility to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcomingExcellent organizational skills and time managementStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesAbility to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervisionAbility to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal; strong organizational and time-management skills Your team and working environment:Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
