Bridge Technician - AutoCAD and Civil 3D

The Bridge Group in the Calgary office of AECOM is seeking a Bridge Technician with an interest in pursuing a career in CADD for the design of bridges and structures. Individual will be working on an interesting range of projects, from concepts to completion, with an established bridge engineering team. Your resourcefulness and ability to work collaboratively will be an asset to our bridge team.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Interpretation of design information provided by the project team
• Production of concept; detailed and record engineering drawings for bridge projects
• Working with AutoCAD, Microstation and other technical software
• Delivery of project documents in a timely and effective manner
• Material take offs and drafting related calculations
• Potential preparation of 3D visualization presentation graphics
• On-site inspection assistance and documentation of conditions
